I still can’t believe how grand their weddings can be. The night was filled with smiles, music, dances and most importantly, I could feel the love that the family and friends had for the bride and groom. From the way they made sure everything was ok to how anxious they were during their dance performances. It was indeed a good night.
Our first try at Chinese food in Karachi at a restaurant called Chinatown. This is their sour and spicy soup. It isn’t the best but it’s probably the closest to Chinese food we can get! And it isn’t that cheap either. We shall stick to naan and roti, which are dirt cheap and yummy.
Other than that, we managed to meet some Chinese people who originally came from China and we were invited to a Chinese New Year Dinner! But it is 2000 Rupees. We are gonna try to get it for free by calling the Chairperson! Fingers crossed! :)
An interesting video that depicts the hidden problems in a seemingly normal, happy family.
“We can learn a lot together
Even if we’re not together
I am glad i found you”
“Will you still hang out
When my hairs gray, and I’m deaf and shout
Cuz i know I’ll stick around when your hair’s gone
And your belly’s round”
